Email Marketing is designed for scheduled bulk sends to contact segments — newsletters, promotions, sales campaigns, B2B communications. It uses volume-optimized send queues with up to 1M contacts per campaign, including A/B testing, advanced segmentation and drag & drop editor. Transactional SMTP is for one-to-one emails automatically triggered by events in your application — account confirmations, password recovery, invoices, critical alerts. It uses low-latency queues optimized for real-time delivery with webhook tracking. Both share the same infrastructure and control panel, but maintain completely separate send queues, IP reputation and metrics to protect the deliverability of both channels.

A dedicated IP is a mail server address exclusive to your company, isolated from other senders' traffic. This lets you build and control your own sender reputation with ISPs (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo). If you send more than 50,000 emails per month, a dedicated IP is essential to prevent other users' activity from affecting your deliverability. Dedicated IPs include gradual warmup managed by our team, 24/7 reputation monitoring and complete isolation from external block lists. For lower volumes, our shared Tier-1 IPs with years of consolidated reputation may be sufficient, but they don't offer the granular control and brand protection that a dedicated IP provides.

SPF (Sender Policy Framework), DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) and DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication) are DNS records that authenticate your domain and prevent spoofing. With Opptima's DNS Autopilot, we automatically generate the correct records in minutes — no technical knowledge required. You just need to copy the TXT records into your DNS provider (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, AWS Route53, etc.). SPF authorizes which servers can send email on your behalf; DKIM cryptographically signs each email to verify integrity; DMARC tells ISPs what to do with emails that fail authentication. Global propagation of these records usually completes in 1–4 hours. Our team verifies everything is correctly configured before your first send.
